Mission Opportunity at St. Mark Sunday, June 23 at 12 Noon

Thanks be to the Lord of the harvest that, through the efforts of some in our LCMS Eastern District, the Word of God will be placed into the hands of more people who are visually impaired. Lutheran Braille Workers is opening a Large Print Production Center at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda. Lutheran Braille Workers is a volunteer organization that provides free braille and large print Bibles, catechisms and other Christian publications to the blind and visually impaired. Rev. Keith Knupp of St. Mark’s announced: “It is my pleasure to announce that it is time to have a planning meeting to move forward with opening the Large Print Production Center at St. Mark.  Rachel Potts of LBW will lead the meeting.  It will be on Sunday, June 23 at 12 Noon in the gymnasium.  Lunch will be provided.  Please RSVP to office@stmarknt.org by Tuesday, June 18 if you plan to attend. This meeting is open to all people interested in working together in producing Large Print materials for LBW.” Please contact Pastor Nickel if you would like to serve on a Holy Cross production team to help produce large print Bibles.
