Easter Breakfast: Easter Breakfast will be offered again -It’s very well constructed with those who can bring breakfast items do so, and all who like to eat and greet come to do that!  It’s held between the services. Easter services are 8am and 11 am on Sunday April 1st. Everyone is invited – especially your guests -cheers Sue Fay

 

Building Enhancements: As we consider different ideas for how to enhance our HC campus, we are going to form a committee that will be chaired by Doug Garlapo. If you have an interest in inside/outside beautification, what a new sign might look like, or other ideas please sign-up by seeing Doug or Scott Brooks.

 

Adult Bible Study:  This Sunday the Adult Bible Study group has begun a brief series titled “Engage”.  Using short films it is a new style of bible study that fits right where you are and shows you right where God wants you to be. Come join us in the Narthex at 9:30 am between services.

 

MOPS Informational Meeting: Holy Cross informational meeting for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) on Thursday, April 12 at 7pm at the HCCC upstairs.  Food and child care will be provided.  If you have a child from 0-5 please join us and bring friends!

 

Mission Trip: Jeff Allan, Rachel Nickel, and Tom Marzano are working on this.

Our Savior: Kurt Wozniak and Bob Hamp are working with Pastor Lutheran Church of Our Savior as we continue to define how we can “together sow and grow” Christ’s kingdom. For example, Our Savior invited our youth to participate in their March fish fry fundraisers for the National Youth Gathering next summer.

 

DCE (Director of Christian Education):  If you are interested in working to develop a recommendation for a DCE resource, please see Pastor Nickel or Wendy Shelton. As we think about the many ministries we have currently and those we want to explore, the DCE role could be an important resource.

 

Camp Pioneer Golf Benefit:  The 17th Annual Camp Pioneer Golf Benefit is  set for Monday, July 16th, at the Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg. Registration begins now. The early bird rates (by April 16th) are $145.00 per golfer, or $580.00 for a foursome.  For more information or to register, please call Camp at 549-1420 (x-10).  

 

Spring Cleaning for the Body!: Spring is a time when we come out of hibernation and try to get our house all clean and in order. Wouldn’t you like a fresh start for your body, as well? We will start a new session of our Tuesday evening exercise class on April 3rd.  It will be a 6-week session running through May 8th.  You can pay as you go at $3/class or save money by paying up front at $15 for the session ($2.50/class).  We meet at 5:30 PM in Krampitz Hall.  Let’s get fit in 2018 together!
