Hearts For The Homeless Fall Collection
Hearts for the Homeless is in need of our help. They make up little baggies of toiletries for the people who come to their bus for meals. These are the items they need: shavers, shave cream, soap, combs, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, chapstick, shampoo, lotion, kleenex and gum. The items need to be small or sample or travel sizes. Also they are always in need of socks for men mostly. The collection box will be in the front lobby through the end of October. Thank you for having a heart for this worthwhile ministry… Any questions, please see Jill Carl.
Clarence Food Pantry
As we were celebrating Rally Day, and the bounty God has blessed us with, it occurred to some of us that, in our own community, there are people living with uncertainty about where their next meal is coming from. Holy Cross’s Nancy Herdic has been a devoted servant of the Clarence Food pantry, http://www.clarpresby.com/serving-your-needs/clarence-community-food-pantry and wouldn’t it be great if everyone at Holy Cross brought in one non-perishable donation for the Clarence Pantry? As most of us know, there is a shelf in Krampitz Hall where Holy Crossers can drop off their food donations. So for the next two Sundays, please consider bringing in a donation in thanks for all the gifts that God has given us. Thanks for giving this your consideration. The items that the food pantry have the greatest need for are: tuna fish, canned spaghettios and canned pasta sauces. Lets help fill the shelves of the Clarence Food Pantry!!!!!
Dash’s Receipts
Please remember to save those Dash’s receipts and get them turned in! The money we receive goes to Habitat for Humanity. Thanks to Lorraine Woodman who continues to tabulate the receipts.
