MenuThank you everyone for supporting the Community Blessing Event this past Sunday May 23, 2021. It was really great to see so many of you at the event and watching so many in fellowship enjoying each other’s company. The giving spirit and generosity was amazing! We sold over 50 meals at the Dirty Bird Chicken & Waffle Food Truck, received $145 of cash donations and sold 52 sheets of raffle tickets for the 50/50 or $260 dollars. The winner of the raffle was Ruth Marzano, who without hesitation donated her 50% share or $130 dollars in winnings back to the event. In total, with your generosity, the Community Blessing Event raised $405 dollars for the Clarence Food Pantry. Now, that is such a huge help for our local neighbors who have food insecurity needs. Jim Owen, Pantry Coordinator will be super excited to put the money to immediate good use. Special thank you to all the volunteers for helping to host the event. A special thank you to those that attended, donated or supported through their prayers. Our God has blessed each of us in so many ways and it’s humbling to know that Holy Cross Clarence can share the good news of Christ through the success of this Community Blessing event and provide some much needed funds to the Clarence Food Pantry that serves others in need so well.
